From Bara M’Baye,  8 min

Sabar permeates the Senegalese culture as dance, drum and community. Sometimes it erupts spontaneously, triggered by a song as in this case, when the professional choreographer Babakar and his dancers called the village girls on Sunday morning before the weekly wash. “If you love your mother, raise your hands” they sang and this splendid dance unfolded before my camera eye.
